Privacy Policy
VisLegis provides client-intake, matter-workflow, document, communication, scheduling, and client-portal software for law firms. This policy explains how information is handled when you use vislegis.app.
Information we process
We process account and workspace information, client and matter information entered by authorized firm users or clients, uploaded documents, communication and delivery records, security logs, and configuration data. If a user connects Google Calendar, we store encrypted authorization tokens and create consultation events requested through VisLegis.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and secure the service, deliver requested communications, synchronize authorized calendar events, maintain audit history, troubleshoot failures, and comply with applicable obligations. VisLegis does not sell personal information or use client-file content for advertising.
Service providers
VisLegis uses infrastructure and service providers to operate the product, including IONOS for hosting and object storage, Resend for transactional email, and Google when a user chooses Calendar synchronization. These providers receive only the information needed to perform the requested service.
Google API data
Google Calendar access is optional and initiated by each user through Google OAuth. VisLegis requests the calendar-events permission to create and manage consultation events. Google credentials are never collected. Authorization tokens are encrypted and may be revoked by disconnecting Calendar in Settings or through the user’s Google Account.
Security and retention
VisLegis uses encrypted transport, private object storage, encrypted sensitive integration tokens, database-backed sessions, access controls, audit records, malware scanning, and encrypted backups. Law firms configure retention requirements for workspace records; deletion may be suspended by legal holds or applicable obligations.
Your choices
Workspace users may review and correct account information, disconnect Google Calendar, and request account or workspace deletion subject to legal, contractual, and retention requirements. Clients should contact the law firm responsible for their matter to exercise rights concerning firm-controlled records.
